What comes across the bench
If it has a circuit board, bring it in. Most shops swap the whole assembly and charge you for it — here the failed component gets replaced instead.

Every repair gets a full function test before it goes back — and I can bring it to you rather than have you drive out.
Component-level, not part-swapping
A dead MacBook is rarely a dead MacBook. It is usually one failed power rail, one cracked solder joint, one shorted capacitor the size of a grain of rice.
Manufacturers quote you a whole new board because replacing the board is faster for them. With a microscope, a hot-air station and schematics, the actual fault can be found and the actual fault can be fixed — for a fraction of the price, and without another working device going to landfill.
